Slim fit jeans in the Chitch and Wolfgang blocks, cut close through the thigh without going skinny at the ankle. Sort by wash first: Laid Black and Black Wax at one end, Champagne Blue and Workshop Blue at the other. YOUR FIT. SORTED ++
SLIM, NOT SKINNY
The difference between the two is at the ankle. A slim fit holds close through the thigh and knee, then leaves room to sit over a boot or a chunky sneaker. A skinny keeps narrowing all the way down.
Chitch is the house slim block and almost all of this collection is built on it, with Wolfgang alongside. The variation is in the finish: Black Wax and Boneyard Black at the darkest end, Champagne Blue and Workshop Blue washed back, Selvedge Raw Black and Selvedge NY Black left rigid.
Rigid denim brings its own shape and takes a few wears to give. Comfort stretch gives from the first day without losing the intended fit. Both are here. If you want more room from the knee down, the men's straight leg jeans open the leg without losing the line.
Where the pairs differ:
- Clean black, Laid Black, Boneyard Black and Black Wax, clean through to coated.
- Washed blue, Champagne Blue, Workshop Blue and Duke Blue, worked back rather than bright.
- Raw selvedge, Selvedge Raw Black and Selvedge NY Black, rigid and yours to break in.
- Worked finishes, Portland Stud Trashed, Kristal Painted and Hendrix Blue Repair.
Nothing here is a basic. The rest of the men's denim reads the same way ++
